If you’re passionate about building a career in digital and are willing to commit at least 7 months to a full time placement here in Leeds, then our paid internship programme could be your perfect foot in the door.
Who it’s for
We’re looking for self motivated applicants with the drive, passion and talent to get the most out of this unique opportunity.
It doesn’t matter if you’re currently at University and looking for the perfect placement, or no longer in education and ready to cut your teeth in your first paid role. Our only requirements are:
- You’re between the ages of 18 and 25
- You’re able to showcase work that demonstrates your drive and ability
- You’re someone we can get on with and rely on for the duration of the internship
What you’ll learn
Our studio is split across four main departments; Marketing, Design, UX and Development. We’re flexible as to how you choose to spend your time, but past experience has shown that providing exposure to each department for around a month and then letting you choose where you’d like to spend the remainder of the placement often returns the most rewarding experience.
On top of honing your craft you’ll also be given insight into the business side of how things are run, from learning how to accurately quote and track project efficiencies through to preparing for pitches and winning work.
The deal
- A minimum 7 month digital internship with the option to extend up to 12, depending on how we all feel it’s going.
- £15k salary, pro rata

FAQs
There’s a bit of flexibility here, but generally we like to start the Internship in September and run it through to March. This means it’s a guaranteed minimum of 7 months, then with the option to extend it for up to a full year should it be in everyone’s interest.
The window for 2021/22 internship applications is between the 11th January 2021 and 28th February 2021.

Once applications have closed we’ll review all submissions and arrive at our shortlist. We’ll then invite all shortlisted applicants over to the office for a short interview and to present some of their work. Once we’ve seen everyone we’ll make a decision on our preferred applicant and invite them to come and spend a further half day with the team, and all being well, progress to offering them the internship.
We’ll notify all unsuccessful applicants via email. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide reasoning in all cases.
We can’t guarantee it, but we’re always on the lookout for talented permanent members of the team. For example, Moona joined as as an intern back in 2015 and is now part of the design team, so it’s been done before.
The Internship is open to anyone who’ll be aged between 18 and 25 on the 30th September of 2021.
Yes. You’ll receive an annual salary of 15k, pro rata.
Unfortunately, we currently only accept applications from people who are permanent residents of the UK.
Of course! If you were successful you’d need to be happy to relocate to Leeds or nearby for the duration on the Internship though.
